01 Overview

The Mushin Football Coaches Council (MFCC) is a Lagos-based organization raising the standard of football coaching across the city. Founded in Mushin, a community of over one million people and a hotbed of football talent, MFCC bridges the gap between raw potential and professional development. With 50+ certified coaches, 2,000+ players developed, 15 partner clubs, and 8+ years of impact, they needed a professional multi-page website to showcase their programs, coaches, milestones, and recruitment pipeline.

02 The Challenge

MFCC had built a strong reputation in Lagos grassroots football but lacked a digital presence to match. Their programs, CAF license preparation, youth academy, mentorship, women's football, club partnerships, and sports science workshops, were communicated only through word of mouth. Prospective coaches, parents, and partner clubs had no centralized place to learn about the council, view the coaching staff, or apply for programs. The challenge was to build a professional, content-rich website that serves multiple audiences while reflecting the bold, community-driven identity of Mushin football culture.

03 The Solution

1. 01Built a multi-page static website with Next.js and React featuring 5 core pages: Home, About (Our Story), Coaches, Programs, and Contact.
2. 02Designed a bold hero section with a full-bleed football imagery background, the tagline 'A New Era of Football Coaching,' and a horizontally scrolling coaches carousel.
3. 03Created an About page with the council's origin story ('From Street Football to Structured Excellence') and core values grid covering excellence, integrity, community, innovation, teamwork, and dedication.
4. 04Built a Coaches page with a filterable grid of 8 coaching staff members showing roles (Chairman, Technical Director, Head of Women's Football, etc.) and a coaching philosophy section.
5. 05Designed a Programs page showcasing 6 programs, CAF License Preparation, Youth Development Academy, Mentorship Network, Club Partnerships, Women's Football Initiative, and Sports Science Workshops, each with detailed curricula and a 3-step enrollment process.
6. 06Implemented a Contact page with a message form, location/email/phone details, office hours, training schedule, and FAQ section.
7. 07Created a consistent footer across all pages with quick links, program links, contact info, and a large scrolling 'MUSHIN FOOTBALL COACHES COUNCIL' marquee.
8. 08Used a dark/green color scheme throughout to reflect the council's brand identity, with green accent highlights on CTAs and section labels.
