01 Overview

Nakamura FC is a Nigerian football academy dedicated to developing aspiring players of all ages and skill levels. The club has a strong competitive record, winning the WAFA League 2021/2022 Season Championship, WAFA Charity Shield 2024, Imani Cup 2022, and multiple other tournaments. They needed a professional website to showcase their achievements, manage match information, publish club news, and recruit new players, establishing a digital identity that matches their on-field ambitions.

02 The Challenge

Nakamura FC had built a strong reputation through tournament wins and community engagement, but lacked any digital presence. Match schedules, results, and club news were shared informally through social media and word of mouth. Prospective players had no centralized place to learn about the academy or apply. The challenge was to build a comprehensive club website that serves multiple audiences, fans following matches, parents evaluating the academy, and players looking to join, while being easy for non-technical club staff to update with match results, news, and gallery photos.

03 The Solution

  1. 01Built a full-featured football club website using WordPress and Elementor, giving club staff the ability to manage all content independently.
  2. 02Designed a dynamic hero section with the club's identity and mission statement, immediately communicating the academy's passion-driven approach.
  3. 03Implemented a match center with last match results (including goal scorers and venue details) and upcoming fixture schedules.
  4. 04Created an achievements section showcasing 6+ tournament wins including WAFA League Championship, WAFA Charity Shield, Imani Cup, and Olori Hadijat Cup victories.
  5. 05Built a news and blog section with paginated articles for ongoing club updates, match reports, and community stories.
  6. 06Designed a photo gallery for team photos, match action shots, and training sessions to build community engagement.
  7. 07Implemented a recruitment section with email signup for prospective players and a 'Join Our Team' call-to-action.
  8. 08Added a newsletter subscription for fans to stay updated on club activities and match schedules.
